Visit the home of Scotch Whisky

28 Jun 2011

The 'Distilleries to Visit 2011' guide is now available and provides information on
distilleries and visitor centres across the country. It lists opening hours, tour times and locations.

Rosemary Gallagher, Communications Manager at the SWA, said: "A visit to a distillery takes you to the very essence of Scotch Whisky. Each distillery has a unique setting which provides the opportunity to learn more about the distinctive way producing Scotch Whisky has evolved over centuries. Visitors can meet the people behind the drink and experience what makes Scotch Whisky so special."

The guide has listings for distilleries in the following regions: Islay, Highland, Speyside and Lowland.
