Scotch Whisky - Local Hero or International Ambassador?

Scotch whisky is more than a drink; it carves out Scotland's identity in almost 200 countries. Made only in Scotland for 500 years, it is seen as a literary and cultural icon heralded around the globe. 

Key speakers Ken Lindsay, International Brand Ambassador for Ballantine's; John Park MSP, Co-convener of the Scottish Parliament's Cross Party Group on Scotch Whisky; and Campbell Evans, Director of Government and Consumer Affairs at the Scotch Whisky Association will consider Scotch whisky's economic and cultural contribution and will ask whether it can be a pioneer for other Scottish products. They will discuss how this key employer and contributor to the economy is integral for Scotland's heritage and future.
